So...

I haven't exactly given up on this list, but I'm not actually keeping up with it anymore either. Most of my blogging I do over at livejournal.com, so I started an all new 101 list there: JFargo 101, a list of my goals and things I want to do.

I don't know what use I'll have for this blog, but I could probably figure something out.

If anyone's still reading, do you have any ideas?

101 Things In 1001 Days

The original purpose of this blog was to help me straighten out my life. Make large goals, and record them when I achieve them.

I want to do that.

So, the following is a list of 101 goals that I'd like to see accomplished 1001 days from now. Some are small, some large. Some will take hundreds of hours of productivity. Each one is just as important as every other one. Getting every single one done is the goal.

Wednesday

I got up at 6am again, but went to bed earlier than midnight. I think the important bit is getting up at 6; I have more energy, and more time to do stuff around the house. Some mornings I wasn't getting a shower until 8 or 9 o'clock, which meant that I didn't really feel awake. Now I have time to shower before my wife gets up and needs to get in there, and I'm awake before even having a cup of coffee. It's a nice feeling.

To Do:

1) Class

2) Dishes

3) Arabic review

4) Vacuum

5) Mow

6) Pick up cans

7) Meatloaf for dinner

8) Pooch Page updates

9) Make grocery list

10) Get quarters for parking

11) Apply to jobs

Tuesday: Weathering the Storm

I've started getting up earlier in the morning, and going to bed later at night. I started this just today, so it's still a little new. I feel awake, and energetic, so my list might start reflecting the extra time and energy that I'll hopefully have in the following few days.

1) Shower
~We bought a new shower-head that filters out chlorine, and adds extra pressure to the water. The soap suds better (it just didn't sud before) and the water pressure is so much more awesome. Helps me feel ready for the day.

2) Class
~Class went well for missing yesterday's review on the vocabulary. I have to remember to get a note from the Doctor today to sort of erase the previous missing days, or I'll lose credit when I really shouldn't.

3) Dishes

4) Cook dinner

5) Homework

6) 1:30 Dr. appt
~Okay, well, that went okay. At least I know I don't have cancer, or some kind of weird infection. Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to deal with the fact that I'm going to be in pain forever. Yay?

7) Make dentist appt

8) Laundry
~REMEMBER TO PUT IN THE DRYER!
~Yay! Success!

9) Write entries for week of Pooch Page

10) Make grooming appt for dogs on December 23rd
~Both girls are now set for a grooming and all-day boarding appointment with The Doggie Playhouse. I like those people; they're nice, and easy to deal with.

11) Call Plumbing for Pennies to inquire about hooking up a dishwasher and water softener
~Set up appointment Thursday afternoon between 12-5.

12) Brush Monster

13) Create new D&D maps for Ambergate

14) Apply to temp agency

15) Cook sauce

16) Arabic review
~Turns out I won't be doing this, after all. We're going to Linen's and Things to grab some kitchen stuff cheaply since L&T is going out of business. The kitchen needs more containers so that I can stop putting the big pots into the fridge, and can start portioning things out better.

17) Wii Fit

18) Plan healthy meals for week

19) Water plants
~Done. Some of them aren't looking too good, which concerns me.

20) Put game disks all in one place
~Sounds silly, but having all my PC games spread out everywhere was stressful when I was trying to find a game to play. I've now consolidated them into one folder, and it feels better that way. This also means that I can throw out the bulky packaging they all came with, as long as I make sure to get any special codes off the box, first.

From Maria

- Deposit checks

- Class presentation
~ That could have gone better, but it also could have been worse.

- Apply to jobs

- Work if you can

- Return library magazines

~ Pizza. It's what's for dinner.

- Ultrasound appt?

- Take your pills
~ All 6. That makes me feel kind of old.

- Have a nice day
~ Well, Monster's sick, and I have lots to do, but this is sort of ephemeral anyway, so I'll call it done.
